A very good fixture that most bearded dragon keepers should buy one size up.
The verdict: The same quality fixture and lamp technology as the 36 inch version in a 24 watt, 24 inch package. Buy it for a juvenile enclosure, a 40 gallon breeder or a 3 foot tank. Do not buy it for a 4 foot adult enclosure, where 24 inches of tube leaves half the enclosure without meaningful UVB and forces the animal into a single spot to get any.

Metabolic bone disease is the most common preventable illness in captive bearded dragons, and it comes down to inadequate UVB. A linear T5 tube across the basking side does what a coil bulb cannot, and the tube needs replacing roughly annually even when it still lights up.
