Log readings taken with a digital probe or infrared thermometer. Check basking temp at the surface, not the air.

Target ranges (adult bearded dragon):

Basking surface: 95–110°F (juveniles toward the warmer end)
Cool side: 75–85°F
Nighttime: may drop to 65–75°F (no light)
Humidity: 30–40%
UVB tube bulbs: replace every 6–12 months even if still lit; compact/coil sooner per maker
