Monthly Wellness Check

Once a month, run through this head-to-tail check and log the results so you can spot trends over a year.

MBD self-check: Gently feel the lower jaw and limbs. A soft or swollen jaw, bumps along the legs, tremors, or a reluctance to walk can signal metabolic bone disease. Review basking temp and UVB bulb age at every check, these are the most common root causes of dragon health problems.

Year-End Review

Trends across the year and topics to raise at the annual vet exam.

A monthly check supports but does not replace veterinary care. Schedule an annual wellness exam with a reptile or exotic vet, and seek care sooner for any warning signs.
